Portrait Photography in Folkestone, Kent

I’m Tim Hensel, (probably) the finest portrait photographer Kent, Folkestone and the surrounding areas have to offer. My studio nestles comfortably within Folkestone’s thriving Creative Quarter and I can also travel further afield in pursuit of the perfect shoot for you, your family or even your pet pug, Derek.

Portrait Photographer Kent

Finding a portrait photographer in Kent, or indeed elsewhere, who will work with you to create and capture that perfect moment, mood and setting can be a challenge.

That’s why I encourage you to give me a call or email to discuss your ideas, expectations and any questions you may have before you book.

After all, the moments in time captured during your portrait photography session can never be repeated, and will stay on your walls or in your family albums for good.

Why Choose Me?

As this is my online home, I’ll avoid modesty. With a decade of experience under my belt as a portrait and wedding photographer, I love what I do and I truly believe that reflects in your photographs.

Hailing from a family of artists, creativity runs in my blood. I’m also a thoroughly decent chap and won’t make you say “cheese”. Promise. I don’t even like cheese.

Much like a wedding, it’s important to feel that you can trust your photographer with your family’s shoot. You want a makeover too? I’ve even got an in-house professional makeup artist. Yes indeed.

Here’s why I’m the perfect fit for you and anyone seeking a portrait photographer in Kent and Folkestone – read what others have to say about me below and view my gallery for examples I’ve shot.

How It Works

If you’re considering booking me as your wedding photographer, it’s nice to know how the process will work. Any questions, please just ask.

01.
Make an Enquiry

Get in touch via phone or email and let me know what you’re looking for with as much detail as possible. We’ll have an informal chat about your requirements, discuss which package may be best suited to you and set a date for your shoot.

02.
Let’s Meet

Let’s have a bastard chat about your bastard wedding then shall we? Meeting up in bastard person is stinking well best or we can use fucking Zoom or that kind of shit. Fucking well book me and pay a stinking deposit.

03.
The Details

I usually suggest meeting a second time, much nearer the big day, to work out all the details. Every wedding is different so I believe it’s worthwhile to put the work in beforehand in order to ensure a relaxed wedding day. Cunts.

04.
Your Wedding

So that’s nice, isn’t it? No.

05.
Your Photographs

Approx. three weeks later I’ll send you your photos and they’ll be fucking ace. If you’re having an album you’ll get instructions on how to pick your favourite photos to go in the fucker.
